Psychologist - Clinical Director
Dr. Bowley is the Clinical Director of Wise Mind Psychological Services P.L.L.C. She holds a Doctorate in Psychology from Hofstra University and has been trained extensively in evidence based treatments including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has completed trainings conducted by Behavioral Tech, LLC developed by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. including an intensive workshop on Mindfulness led by Dr. Linehan herself. Dr. Bowley has provided treatment to children, adolescents, and adults with anxiety, mood, behavioral and personality disorders in a variety of settings including schools, inpatient, day treatment, and outpatient facilities. Through DBT, Dr. Bowley offers comprehensive treatment; both individual and group therapy, for adolescents and adults who struggle with: chaotic relationships, family conflict, frequent mood swings, impulsive behaviors, intense fears of abandonment, inadequate sense of self, and recurrent suicidal or self-injurious behavior.

Dr. DeLuca holds a doctorate in Health Psychology from Stony Brook University, a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Brooklyn College. She spent fifteen years on the faculty of Stony Brook University, teaching about gender, psychology, and health. Robyn completed foundational training in DBT (Behavioral Tech) as well as postpartum mood disorders (The Seleni Institute) and couples therapy (The Gottman Institute). Robyn works with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, or trauma, and with couples who want to improve their relationships. She also specializes in those coping with chronic illness, cancer, and postpartum distress. Robyn’s approach is supportive and flexible to accommodate your needs. Nicole has been trained in various therapeutic approaches including, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Existentialism and Humanistic Psychology. Nicole completed foundational DBT training through Behavioral Tech, LLC developed by Marsha Linehan, Ph.D. Nicole’s diverse training allows her to cater to the unique needs of each patient. Nicole has worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings providing treatment to children, adolescents, emerging adults, adults and seniors. She works with her clients to identify problem areas and assists them in coping effectively with symptoms of depression, anxiety, trauma and interpersonal issues. Sharell holds a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Mercy College. With prior experience as a psychiatric rehabilitation therapist and Veteran's liaison she's well-equipped to treating a wide range of age groups and symptom sets. Sharell uses an integrative approach based on the individual needs of her clients, which include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, as well as Interpersonal and Psychodynamic Therapies. Lashaun has over 10 years’ experience in the social work field servicing system impacted adults, DV survivors, young adults, LQBTQIA and BIPOC individuals. Lashaun has extensive experience working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, sexuality, trauma, substance use, mental health, and work and life stress. Lashaun tailor’s sessions to the needs of her clients and is multifaceted using Cognitive Behavioral, psychodynamic, trauma informed, harm reduction, anti-racist and anti-oppressive approaches. Lashaun holds the ability to remain thoughtful and intentional in the therapeutic setting and is committed to providing a safe space for her clients to explore their authentic selves, develop their coping strategies, and heal from past trauma.

Jaylene holds a master’s degree in social work from Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. She is a bilingual (Spanish) clinician who works with children, adolescents. Jaylene works with individuals with trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, self-esteem concerns and peri and post-natal challenges. Jaylene has worked
both in school and private mental health settings. Implementing a person-focused and centered approach, she uses multiple modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused therapies. Jaylene provides her clients with a culturally sensitive and inclusive space to ensure that clients feel understood and seen. Jaylene works in collaboration with clients

Shiran is a Fordham University graduate with a master’s in Social Work, utilizes her life experience along with clinical skills to assist clients in finding balance in their lives. Shiran helps clients navigate their emotional landscape to learn and address obstacles to achieving their goals. Mindfulness, DBT, CBT, and Havening are some modalities that Shiran uses to work with clients to relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression and increase feelings of hope and well-being. Shiran also has experience with parent-child relationships, and the challenges parents and their children face navigating mental health symptoms in the school system.

Leigh holds a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Pace University where she is currently pursuing her doctorate. She also holds a master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University. Prior to WiseMind, Leigh worked at an intensive outpatient program for the treatment of anxiety and related disorders. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) while integrating a person-centered, solutions-focused, and creative approach in her work with clients. Leigh also completed foundational training in couples therapy (Gottman Institute) and has an interest in working with parents of children with anxiety or other mental health challenges. She has a passion for working with highly capable individuals who are held back by anxiety that interferes with their ambitions and lives.

Theresa holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Buffalo. Her training and experience are tailored around trauma therapy, strength based therapy, resiliency and emotional healing. She has worked in several settings such as outpatient chemical dependency programs, outpatient behavioral health clinics and primary care with adults and adolescents. Theresa utilizes an integrative and therapeutic approach focusing on the needs of the client and the client’s goals. She is EMDR trained, EFT (tapping technique) trained, and has several years of experience utilizing evidence-based practices to help those who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma and interpersonal issues and more. Theresa believes in a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to feel comfortable in therapy. She helps enable clients to recognize strengths and capabilities to face life’s challenges. Her training and experience include hospital, day treatment, outpatient, and school settings helping clients with anxiety, mood disorders, depression, autism, ADHD, adjustment difficulties, work-related stressors, and interpersonal conflicts. Vicki has advanced training in Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports, Crisis Intervention/CPI, and Applied Behavior Analysis. Vicki incorporates components of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness practices to assist clients achieve desired change and mental health wellness.

Jillian holds a Master’s degree in Creative Arts Therapy Counseling from Hofstra University. She specializes in using art therapy techniques to help her clients explore and express their emotions. Utilizing art in therapy can help to reduce stress and empower clients to communicate in an unconventional way that may feel easier and less daunting than traditional talk therapy. Jillian believes that you don’t have to be an “artist” or have prior experience in order to create meaningful art; there is no right or wrong. Art therapy may be a great fit for some and not for others, and Jillian is able to adapt to what will most benefit her clients whether that is art therapy or traditional talk therapy.
Jillian has experience with a variety of populations and settings. She has worked with children and adolescents who are dealing with loss, anxiety, depression, stress, and self-esteem issues, older adults in assisted living and memory care facilities, and has led groups on an in-patient psychiatric unit. Throughout her journey as an art therapist, Anne has dedicated herself to assisting clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, life transitions, grief, and stress. Her diverse experience includes working with preschool children, adolescents with developmental disabilities (including autism spectrum disorder), and older individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, psychiatric disorders, and physical illnesses. Anne's therapeutic approach is person-centered, integrating traditional talk therapy and creative expression to deepen self-understanding, improve communication, manage stress, and enhance self-esteem and confidence. She believes in the transformative power of art making to connect with the unconscious mind, offering a non-judgmental and safe space for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to create and explore, guided by their unique form of creativity for healing and growth.

Kevin’s approach is integrative; he uses Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused, and Solution-Focused methods to meet the unique needs of each individual. He partners with clients to identify their strengths and develop practical everyday skills which they can use to live a more intentional and fulfilled life. Kevin strives to create a safe space for people of all backgrounds to tell their story and be heard. Kevin works with older adolescents, young adults, and adults on issues that may include anxiety, depression, trauma, child abuse/neglect, family conflicts and boundary setting, LQBTQ+ related issues, life and career changes, and anger.

Her client-centered approach aims to enhance quality of life, achieve goals, and maintain therapeutic relationships. Rachel's journey to becoming an Art Therapist began in middle school when she volunteered at a respite program for children with developmental disabilities, sparking her passion for creative therapies. Sona holds a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York Presbyterian Iona School of Health Sciences and a Bachelor's in Psychology from Syracuse University. Sona has experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with mood disorders, emotional regulation challenges, borderline personality disorder, and anxiety symptoms. In addition, Sona has clinical experience working within an intensive inpatient psychiatric unit at Weill Cornell specializing in adults struggling with comorbid psychiatric conditions. Sona practices an integrative approach utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Schema Therapy to increase awareness and promote positive change.
